Susan Bein Rosman was born in Philadelphia and received her B.S. and M.A. degrees from Temple University. Her studies have included Brentwood Art Center with Sally Lamb and workshops with Franklyn Liegel, Gerald Brommer and Virginia Cobb. She works in all mediums, presenting subject matter varying from floral to studies of interiors and exteriors of buildings.

Susan’s goal is to capture the delicacy of nature and the mystery of environment. She enjoys painting floral and still life subjects that offer the opportunity to use brilliant color and complex patterns. “I love the contrasts of mood and texture that I can achieve by juxtaposing the colors, patterns and layers of paint.” Her interiors are highly personal, showing rooms without people and asking the viewer to imagine what might be occurring within.
